Have you installed the host agent using the root access.
Host agent | Call saphostexec directly with the following parameter: saphostexec -restart If necessary, you can perform the stopping and starting of the agent in two commands, by calling saphostexec directly with the following parameters: saphostexec -stop saphostexec -restart
saphostexec is at the following path: /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe To check the current status of saphostexec, use the command saphostexec -status. |
If the host agent is already installed then use the above command to start the host agent.
