Re: Performance issue in loading

Hi all,

there is one SAP note 1168098 - related to Performance during DataStore object extraction ,

its says like when you extract a large amount of data in the mode "Serialized Extraction, Immediate Parallel Processing". The process takes a lot of time to write and read in the table RSBKDATA.

The table RSBKDATA contains the extracted data package so that is can be used again in a parallel mode. This temporary storage is normally deleted when the request has the status "green" or "deleted". This can be set in the "Temporary Storage" menu in data transfer process (DTP) maintenance.
When there are very large quantities of data, it is better to delete the temporary storage of a data package when the data package is updated to the target instead of at the end of the extraction. This prevents the table from becoming unnecessarily large and it improves the performance of the request.

I didn't understand the bold sentence, Gurus can please help in detail with that stuff.. .....

Note: we have created a secondary indexes for the DSO object  tomorrow transport will be available in production, will post the results of same

Thanks,

Siva
